A panel discussion exploring how to weave the biodynamics of Indigenous story into the modern context of culturally diverse Australia.
Understanding the biodynamics of story means exploring the pre-story space.
It means being curious about what environmental, cultural, gender, faith and physical preconditions contribute to our story origins.
It means considering how these pre-story factors shape our understanding of where our individual and cultural narratives originate.
And beyond that - how the current pre-story conditions are already determining the narratives of the future.
Indigenous Dreaming stories are the first stories. These are our foundation. Our limited understanding of their significance and language as a joint culture limits our ability to build future narratives of healing, growth and communal understanding of our selves in our spaces.
This panel will illustrate how speaking with consideration and inclusion enables us to weave the biodynamics of Indigenous story into the modern context of culturally diverse Australia.
Welcome to the biodynamic storytelling space - where we know who we are, who we’ve been and where we’re going because we understand the climate in which our stories were, are and will be born.
