Emergence Creative Festival, to be held from March 25-27, 2020 in the Margaret River region’s newly built HEART complex, will host keynotes from leading companies like Google and Facebook.
Joining them for the festival's seventh instalment will be heads of leading creative, tech and digital agencies from across Australia and the world for the region’s own home-grown creative conference.
The first round of speakers was announced on Tuesday, and included Google Zoo’s Chief Creative APAC Dave Bowman, who is responsible for finding creative solutions for clients using Google’s suite of technology, and Facebook Creative Shop’s Creative Services Lead APAC Claire Davidson, who produces and creates mobile-first advertising for brands, clients and agencies using Facebook + Instagram’s portfolio of products. Joining them will be New York’s serial tech entrepreneur Bill Cromie who founded a tech incubator that supports New Yorkers living below the poverty line; former mamamia.com.au video content creators and founders of The Social Parade Briony Benjamin and Clare Gerber; place making specialist Andrew Hoyne; Guy Munro, head of Australia’s first voice experience company, VERSA; and Gill Minervini, Creative Producer of events such as Dark MOFO’s Winter Feast, Sydney’s Mardi Gras and Melbourne Docklands’ Firelight Festival.
The three-day conference and festival attracts marketers, content-makers, innovators, futurists, leaders and artists across music, film, advertising, photography, digital, experiential and visual arts, who come to Emergence to collaborate and share knowledge, inspiration and industry insights.
Festival Chair Mat Lewis said, ‘We’re thrilled with the line-up of speakers so far and look forward to seeing the collaborations and connections that unfold at the festival.’
‘Each year, amazing things occur between keynotes and attendees at Emergence; from developing festival beer cans with local artists that flip into national brands, to mentoring the next generation of content and film makers, Emergence has built a family of contributors that reaches far and wide.’
The two-day conference will tackle the theme of ‘Human Connection in a Post Digital World’ and keynotes will share their journeys and experiences, exploring how they – and we - can harness the benefits of new tech, dodge the pitfalls and connect as people in a post-digital landscape.
Early bird tickets are now on sale for Emergence Creative Festival, offering up to 25% off passes until 13 December.
