Nicholas Kempt

​Welcoming back Nicholas Kempt – animation director and design educator – based in the Perth Hills, but always with one foot in regional WA. His commercial and artistic work explores cultural identity, environment, and storytelling through both physical and digital forms. He has directed animated and projected works, collaborating with agencies and community organisations including The Wunan Foundation, SBS and ABC. His practice sits at the intersection of art, culture and technology — reimagining stories through movement and image.
