JUSTIN DAVIES is a BAFTA Award winning Producer, and Senior Development Executive of Scripted Drama for Fremantle. He was Executive Producer of QUACKS (BBC2) for NBCUniversal International Studios in partnership with The Wellcome Trust. Starring Rory Kinnear (Bond) & Rupert Everett (My Best Friend’s Wedding) with Andrew Scott (Fleabag) the period comedy/drama explored mind-blowing medical advances in the mid 19th Century. He produced TWO DOORS DOWN (BBC1/BBC Scotland) currently in its fourth season; WAY TO GO (BBC3) a ground-breaking and controversial assisted suicide series with Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners) by U.S comedy writers Bob Kushell (The Muppets) & Jeff Greenstein (Will & Grace); SOME GIRLS (BBC3) a hit among teen audiences that returned for 3 seasons; the International Emmy nominated Christmas, NYE and Olympics Specials of ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS (BBC1/BBC America & Logo); PSYCHOVILLE (BBC2) with Reece Shearsmith & Steve Pemberton (The League of Gentlemen); BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE (BBC2) starring Olivia Colman (The Crown) by Jonathan Harvey (Beautiful Thing), based on Simon Doonan’s memoir NASTY; TO THE MANOR BORN 25th ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL (BBC1) and the single comedies HR (BBC4) with Jonathan Pryce (Evita) and I DO written by Jack Williams (Baptiste, Liar). He was associate and producing partner to Jon Plowman, then Head of Comedy at the BBC. For Foxtel he Executive Produced the 2011 Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Live Broadcast for ARENA delivering huge numbers for the channel & an additional red-button broadcast starring Lily Tomlin. His documentary BUTTERFLY MAN (AFTRS) won the Silver Cub at IDFA. Whilst at NIDA, Justin worked in the U.S for Baz Luhrmann on LA BOHEME ON BROADWAY.
