Cate Rocchi is Managing Director of Perth Media – a strategic communications, public relations and media consultancy. The firm (established in 2015) works with multinational technology firms, mining and agribusiness companies, not‑for‑profits, and organisations with strong ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) principles. Cate has a track record in high-level corporate storytelling. She assists innovative companies tell their best stories to target audiences. Creativity is a core value.
Cate – a 2025 mentor with Bandwidth, a spin out of Emergence Creative – is passionate about enabling young people to gain experience and opportunities in creative industries. She is also currently researching how AI is monitoring social and traditional media.
Cate has been chairperson of Linkwest – the peak body for more than 200 neighbourhood and community resource centres in Western Australia – and was awarded the Difference Makers Diversity Award in 2018 and is a Leadership WA 2017 Signature Graduate. As a former career journalist, she held various financial reporting roles in Hong Kong and London. In 2013, Cate self-published a book of fictional short stories, The Driller’s Wife and Other Kalgoorlie Crime Stories under C.E. Rocchi.
