Paul Frazer Clarke

BANDWIDTH AMPLIFY MENTOR - Business Owner, Music Composition/Production, Business Consultant

Paul Frazer Clarke is a Perth-based composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist with over 36 years in the music industry — not just as a participant, but as someone who’s helped shape parts of it.

Born in the UK, Paul was signed to Epic Records and wrote for Warner Chappell and MCA Music before making Australia home. In 1994 he co-wrote and co-produced what’s documented as the first Drum ‘n’ Bass album, under the name Fast Floor — years before the genre had a name most people would recognise. He also co-wrote and co-produced Purveyors Of The New Groove as Earl Grey, released on Carl Cox’s label Worldwide Ultimatum.

A 25-year relationship with Sonoton Music, Europe’s largest independent library music company, has placed his work on The Oprah Winfrey Show, BBC, National Geographic, Dragons’ Den, Discovery Channel and in numerous film productions — over 200 works and counting. Today he’s part of Radio Circus, a production team based at a Dolby Atmos studio in Perth, writing and collaborating with artists internationally.

Alongside music, Paul has spent over 20 years advising businesses — from UK directorships through to founding Illumium, a business strategy and planning consultancy in WA. That work has taken him into strategic growth, recovery planning, business planning, marketing and start-up support across sectors including arts and Indigenous business. He’s one of the founders of the Bandwidth Amplify Program, and returns with the same aim: to help creatives get more comfortable with the business side of what they do, without losing sight of the work itself.
