Dr Joe Barnby is a computational neuroscientist and muscian, and managing director at Senscapes. Senscapes create immersive experiences using brain data recorded from those in altered states during neuroscience experiments, and have been featured in The FT, CNN, Resident Advisor, and The Royal Society, as well as hosting sell out shows in Australia and the UK. All sounds and visual art follow the biological and emotional narrative of the data, using shifts in brain rhythms and participant reports to craft the ebb and flow of our music and cymatics.
