Perth native Ivan Shaw has navigated a diverse two-decade career in filmmaking and photography.
After studying at the Film and Television Institute in Fremantle, he journeyed to London in 2007, assisting fashion photographers and progressing to a lighting technician for the photographer Mario Testino.
Co-founding Wild Island Films in 2014, Ivan collaborated with global brands such as Adidas and Dior and Vogue.
After 14 years abroad in 2021 he returned to Perth where he rekindled his passion for photography. Recently Ivan has constructed a darkroom and is working towards a large-scale photographic exhibition, introducing an exciting new dimension to his artistic journey.
