Introducing Nicholas Kempt – Visual Artist, Animator and Creative Director based in Western Australia.
Nicholas transforms salvaged natural materials into surreal insect sculptures and tribal-inspired masks, blending organic textures with projection graphics and animation. His work explores cultural identity, environment, and storytelling through both physical and digital forms.
As founder of ZAC Creative, he has directed animations and projection works for screen and stage, collaborating with organisations including the Wunan Foundation, SBS and ABC. His practice sits at the intersection of art, culture and technology — reimagining stories through movement, image and installation.
